U NEVR BEAT D IRISH!

Hello,

does someone recongize this font on RYANAIR's aircraft 'U NEVR BEAT D IRISH!"?

I had Akzidenz Grotesk but that's not it. Your input is much appreciated.

Best regards,
C.

I’d say Myriad.

I say... Arial Bold

Sean, you should learn to distinguish Arial’s |S|: http://typophile.com/node/120984#comment-592387

I suggested Myriad over Frutiger mainly because the visible angle between terminals of |S| and stems of |H| and |I|: in Frutiger they’re virtually parallel, while in Myriad they diverge in a more pronounced way.

But then, again, the dot in Myriad’s bang is circular…
Softmaker’s knock-off of Frutiger has a similar |S|, but not enough space between stem and dot in the bang.

Myriad’s |B| is much more rounded than the one on the sample (the bowls have little to no flat portion, top and bottom). That and the exclamation point led me to Frutiger:

Hello,

thanks to all for your input. I opted for Frutiger Cond Black now, which looks accurate in my eyese. I ruled out Myriad Pro too, being the default font of Illustrator. But I forgot to check Frutiger.

Thanks once more!
C.
